Binaural Beats Experiment #9 from AVA

In this experiment, we will study the effects of binaural beats in the brain. Binaural beats are beats perceived by the brain, these can be called as phantom or ghost beats, where let’s say through oscillators, the left ear is sent a sine wave of 440 Hertz and the right is given 434 Hertz, our brain would perceive beats inside the brain with the frequency of 6 hertz (440-434).

For the experiment, the participants have to download a stereo audio file an listen to the same on stereo headphones, any headphones having separate left and right channels would do, this is important as the beats would not be perceived unless the left and right ear get two different stimuli.

In the track provided, the left channel has a since wave of 50 hertz and the right has 54 hertz.

That morning...I woke up this one morning and just decided out of a sudden, I'm going mumbai with the fam.
So, i had to leave aside so much work, so much many things!

Here are the things i did, in a 4 part Video VLOG:
PART 1:

May 22nd, I wake up and i take a hasty decision of going to mumbai with my cuz and the fam as she has her USA student Visa application in...
Part 2:

In This part, I wake up early, where i sleep late as well and i go out on a walk just for fun.
I see things, things that hurt me a little was the garbage and the stink, ugh!
Traffic was still crazy,
Part 3:

discuss a little about the people of Mumbai, the girls in mumbai.
Then i find a shop open, i buy frooti, parle ...
Part 4:

Here, i discuss the imbalance between the rich and poor.
There are huge high quality star buildings and there are old broken down stuff.
THen i spend time with my little cuz stasha, she's the cutest little girl ever!
I check out her room, and then she zips me inside!

Then i get off to sleep, and i wake up unhappy, very unhappy.
I missed the workstation, and i buyb me a apple keyboard...
Oh so soft, oh so sweet!

Then dinner at a hotel, Indian food Spicy! Ugh i hate spicy food.
Then i do a long walk at night, then i try out the ke...

Rider's heaven, This time we're planning on a overnight/one day trek to the slopes of hell, the group will be both on bikes and walking.
Join us for an adventurous night you will never forget.

Location:

What you need to bring along:
Sports shoes
Lots of water
Food, preferably dry
sleeping bag
Warm clothes
Torch (Bright)
Generic Safety Box
Mosquito repellent
Lighter

How to reach:
You can either come by bike/car. Keep in mind you will have to park your vehicle overnight, which might not be safe. I suggest you join the group along in train/bus.

Difficulty: Moderate, this trek can be done by anyone with below average stamina.

Cost: Nothing, you pay for your expenses.

Duration: We leave Pune at 4 pm on the 5th of Feb, Saturday. You can either come for the evening and then return or stay back with the group staying overnight.
The trek will be of 1 hour and we shall set up the camp near the tower. We return on the Sunday, 6th Feb early morning approx. 6 am.

Food: Veg and Non Veg, Barbecue, and more.

You can bring anything you require for this trek.

The first thing you need to set up your own website is a name for it, a domain name:

This where you have to spend your 50 Rs. no where else, You can get your domain name from godaddy, link below:

Once there, search for any name you want and in the drop down list of domain extensions which in default is (.com) select .info
That's it, along with your domain name you get an email address, a free web hosting account, blog account and a lot more!
Hosting at Godaddy:
The next step would be to decide whether to host your website on either godaddy or others.
There are many options here, you can select to host your website at the free 1gb Hosting that godaddy provides but there's a catch, there's always a catch with free things. When you use godaddy's free hosting, godaddy will add a advertisement on the top of your website, which doesn't really create a good impression.
You can get rid of this advertisement by using this method at hacktoria which involves inserting a small script after the html tag in your web code.

Blogger :
Another way would be to map your blogger blog to your domain, its a easy process of changing your Cname's and Aname's in the domain control center in godaddy. Don't get scared of these terms they're pretty easy once you get across them. See the whole procedure of setting your blogger blog here. You will get rid of the ".blogspot" in your blog after you do this, then put up a nice looking blogger template and you've got yourself a website. You can also get rid of the favicon and add your own custom image there, which i will be covering later.

Ad-free Hosing:

You can also host your website at any ad-free hosting services, i came across freehosting and i found it pretty good. They also provide mysql and php, necessary to install joomla/wordpress and many others.

Google Sites:
linking up your website with google sites is also another option, Google Sites is a free and easy way to create and share webpages. Linking it with your custom domain name, you will get rid of the ".googlesites.com" extension.

I would recommend using Joomla ( Content Management System ) if you're thinking of creating project websites, Wordpress ( For personal websites/blog ).

So go ahead and get your name out there!

It sounds easy, earning money online, but it does take a considerable amount of patience to earn $ from the internet. Most companies advertise telling you that you'll earn money doing the tasks you do daily, but a large portion of the make money online web sites end up fooling you.

Here are the various reasons why you would need this hub:
1> Need for extra USB ports on your laptop/computer.

The main reason I got this hub was because it was powered, we get usb hubs for cheap but they use the power from the usb port its connected to and distributes it to the 4/8 ports. most of the usb devices work in this way, but some devices demand individual power, that's where a powered usb helps.
I wanted to connect my nano pad, bcf 2000, key rig, and a usb mic all at the same time.

I tried using a normal usb hub when whenever I connected all of the midi controllers and the usb mic together two of them would abruptly shut off.

It includes a power adapter, and a usb connector. Some countries get a pouch too, I didn't get one.

Overall this hub is really good quality and has never let me down.

Vocals is one of the most imporatant part in a great production.
Even if all of the music on a song is created via MIDI, you have to resort to the traditional methods of vocal recording using human singers and microphones.The vocals is the most important ingredient of most of the songs, thus it has to be flawless as the human voice is a natural sound which all of you know very well and any flaws in a vocal recording can be pointed out very easily. Thus having a perfectly in tune singer solves 50 % of the recording process the rest is up to the recording engineer whether to make a good singer sound bad or vice versa.
Recording vocals is an art there isn't any specipic rule as such, but there are a few basic rules you need to follow and take a few tricks of the process to get your recording sound professional.

Here is a check list :
1> Singer: Make sure that the singer is well rehearsed and comfortable as the G.i.G.A.
Garbage in is garbage out applies here. As most of the singers have their personal
preference of standing you have to make sure they are comfortable and in their euphoric
state. If they're getting distracted by any one make sure you get them out of there. Make sure whether the singer prefers reverb/delay on their can mix some like a little delay and reverb. Its a matter of trial and error make the singer listen to different mixes and decided which one suits best from the performance the singer gives.

2> Headphone Mix: Craft the headphone mix right. A little reverb always helps the singers

sing more confidently. You can also give the singer a midi control or a hardware control over the amount of mix he/she gets so they can set just what's right for them. A good head phone mix helps to encourage a good performance.

3> Pop Shields: Always use a pop shield between the singer and the mixrophone. It helps in getting rid of the unnatural 'pops' on plosive 'b' and 'p' sounds which can't be fixed afterwards. The pop shield can be a commercial or a home made it doesn't really make much of a difference . Foam wind shields are useless in combating pops.

4> Microphone: Use a good microphone.It doesn't really have to be the best on the market but shouldn't be the worst, try not to use the one's designed for home use "karoake mics".
Depending on the voice you can use condensor/dynamic/ribbon or any other mic.

5> mix suitability: Use a mix that suits the singer, A singer with a thin or bright voice sound great on a dynamic mic, the one's liek the Shure SM58, those needing an open sond would be better on a capacipot/back electret mic. If you have a mic kit, try all of them on the singer experiment is what makes music better

6> mix pickup pattern: make sure you use the right pick up pattern. Most vocals are recorded using a cardiod or unidirectional pick up patterns. These pick up less sound from the sides and rear of themix. And omni mic of a similar quality gets a more natural, open sound works great on a singer who sounds nasal/boxy.

7> Mic Distance: Make sure the mic is at a right distance from the singer. If you keep it too close you have dangers of getting popping sounds. Also as cardioid mics have the 'proxomity effect' that's when the bass increases when the singer comes too close. Make sure you have the perfect distance where the levels are balanced not too loud not too weak. If the mix is placed too far the reflections of the rooms tend to get in the mic makes the audio boxy its ba for later processing. To get a dry sonud a distance of about six to nine inches (15-24 cms) is considered ideal.

8> Ain't there nothing dry fo real: When we refer to a dry recording, it means the audio has no reverb on it, but there is nothing such as a dry recording if we wanted a dry recording that would mean the room to be having no pressure, that's impossible.
But recording with minimal very less reverb is considered dry as its not really noticable. Make sure that there's no influence of the room's reverb on the recording. The microphone will pick up sound from both the singer and the reflections of the room. You have to reduce these reflections, to do this make sure you have the mix is placed at a perfect position where the amount of relections is the least and reduce the amount of reverb by improvising screens using sleeping bags behind the singer.

I had posted one earlier on my "Hunt for the nintendo wii" here India and I just forgot about it all being busy in other stuff.

Recently I came across a website that talks only about nintendo since 1996 which confirms the price of wii to be reduced to $199 on the sunday, September 27th, I know this is very exciting but I am not really sure about this until I see it everywhere.

One of the staff of "Nintendojo" was attending a retailer conference call where Nintendo confirmed the new $199 Wii price.
I am hoping this is the real deal, and if it is. I'm getting one then and there.

This can't be guaranteed, so don't go jumping all over, wait till the 27th and go get your wii On !

Twestival Pune : We met, we went, we had the best time of our life

As decided earlier, I confirmed with our leader Abhi and reached 3d Destination.
Somehow, all the people who had confirmed to come didn’t show up and it was really disappointing for me to stand there calling up and listening to the random excuses most of the people gave us.
Finally we came to a decision, there were 6 of us … Abhi, Ashwini, Prasad, Ketan, Rohan and me.
We left 3d, a detour in city to get gifts for the kids there, got them biscuits, chocolates, some stationary and will soon after a discussion with the person in charge there get something for them that will be useful in daily life.
So, 6 of us introduced each other, well i knew Ket and Roh since college, and we left for Ishwarpuram, a little disappointed but still excited.
The journey was about an hour or so which went very fast for me as a friend of Abhi, Prasad was a very entertaining person and we had a good laugh throughout our journey on the bikes.

Entering Ishwarpuram

Finally we reached Ishwarpuram and met the person in-charge there who explained what and how things worked there, the history, the plans for the future etc.
My first impression when I saw Ishwarpuram painted on a cement pole was “yeah, that’s good, Hey shoot that now ” .
So we took the left turn and through the dirt track type road which had one hard to cross patch was fun. On entering, I saw peace, greenery and the freshest air in Pune.
They had some function today in the hall and I though “Why not shoot these people and claim them as the twestival attendees”, yes I’m evil haha.
In we went and had a talk with the in-charge people and learned more from them.

Just then a smart looking boy came to us and served us water with a smile, “Pradeep” he said after I asked what his name was. I really saw potential in this guy when he showed us around, told us stuff and Oh, he’s a Pune champion football player too! and we were making jokes on how unfit all of us were.
Some more of talking done by our leader “Abhi”, he’s a person with a lot of patience and interest. You can keep on telling him stuff and he will listen with the same interest from the first word to last. Anyways, then Pradeep took us to show us around Ishwarpuram.

We went down the main hall or I hadn’t read what it was but they had detailed instructions on every room. The timetable started at 5:30 am which was awwed at by most of us. Further ahead we came at the bath section and saw 2-3 kids washing clothes and I tried to remember when was the last time I was washed something, I hit my head with a click and walked ahead. We then came to the rooms of the kids, as we were getting more acquainted with Pradeep, we were clicking away snaps in a speed sequence setting, and that’s the reason the pics haven’t been here in this post yet. Too many and scattered !

This is how Ishwarpuram will look from the skies !

The bed rooms were kept very clean, by the kids themselves. When grown, these will be the independent men with lot of talent and success I’m sure.
One room had a vase with a really creative arrangement of flowers in it which we found out was made by Pradeep. Later we asked a kid who was on a upper bed in the room say he made it.
We loled and took pictures of both of them together as it happened to be that one got flowers and the other arranged.

Then we saw the amazing Art room, having paintings each which deserved a day of observation, there were some musical instruments too and I thought “Ah, cool that. let’s prod..” that thought was disturbed by Ketan who told me its lunch time
We adored how there were seat numbers painted on the floor as A,B,C,D … pretty cool so we were Asking each other number and stuff.

Lunch was delicious, Abhi had already got lunch for us - A perfect leader and we had a fusion which tasted just good. Then was the time to meet the children ! yay, but frankly I was a little “nerv” so yeah, we sat for few minutes discussing, Look at that”ing” and laughing, mostly laughing though and finally got the boxes of chocolate and stationary and made our way to the hall.
We had our wow moment as 45 something kids chorused “Good afternoon” - If you would have been there, I can’t explain. How’s hypnotic for a description , no it was something more.

After I shouted at Roh to start the video, I started ” Hello, yaha pe hindi kisko aati hain ?
( Who among us know hindi).
Sab ko aati hain ?
(every one knows? )
I asked every one their name and what they like, the typical first day in school type introduction from them which they gave excellently.
Yes, and then I stared off in a rather typical hindi motivational speaker type tone that was stuttered when I tried to remember the hindi equivalent for the words like “computer, internet, organization and so many more” But they were so good, they listened to every word of mine and saw my smile grow wider every word I said with the worst hindi usage.

I asked whether any one among them would like to show what they do and a great singer song “Hum hoge kamayaab” Song which reverberated just perfectly in the room which deserved the applause.
The chocolates and stuff were distributed and we decided finally that we were to play football with them, we said Yes, but none of knew what was coming to get us !
A talk with the incharge people, they told us how *late Mr. Vikas Bhagwat was and we were really interested and they finally gave us a book in Marathi “Babhalichi Fule” - Vikas Bhagwat (nana) . I looked up at the sky, don’t ask why, I feel good and reminded we had just asked the kids to be at the ground and we weren’t there.

The Sport Ground

The ground is shared with the army school which helps Ishwarpuram, my bike could have slipped down with me on it, I didn’t realize how steep that road was. It wasn’t meant for bikes too.
I couldn’t recognize Pradeep till I called his name and there he was in his red football jersey as he shouted “Chalo khelte hain”.

Prasad tied his laces, Rohan warmed up, and I folded my jeans up and asked for a belt. I didn’t get one.
The match was awesome, we saw tricks and were now running away from the ball! Prasad tried hard and yes once or twice he could kick the ball.
I saved a few goals though, and Roh was playing pretty nice too. Few more minutes of play time and I was feeling like my heart was on fire. We all were in the same condition. These guys are real good players !
Their coach had come and we stopped the game, as I walked back to take back my stuff I had handed to camera man - Ketan, I asked who was the coach as we saw a bike and a white skoda coming in the ground.
I asked who the coach was and was amazed to know that coach was the one in the car ! Oh cool, yeah let’s get back we said and stared to walk back.
We also had a wonderful chat with the coach, and the ideas he had in mind were amazing too.

Getting into music was a very different way at a very young age for me.
I came across a digital audio workstation in my 4th Grade.
The first day I made a song was on it, since then I have been experimenting, learning and making sounds expressing the feelings that lie inside.

I'm currently into music composing, mastering, song writing, no particular genre, most of it is hip hop/trance fusion.

If you're a twitter, you must be noticing those small links twitter has on the home page. They include links to sites related to twitter like tweet-deck which is a client for twitter.
One day I came across a link to twestival
So, i clicked and came up a pretty neat, clean designed web-site with nice colors.
So what is twestival ?

Twestival is an international movement where people meet offline for one night, have fun and do some good for an important cause in the process.
Twestival Local gives cities an opportunity to select a local cause to support.
This event will be taking place in cities around the world between 10-13 September 2009.

So, I registered my city Pune for it and forgot about it. After few days, I got many people from my city showing interest in holding a twestival for a good cause.

A leader was assigned to our team and we taking about stuff and decided to keep an event for Ishwarpuram. Ishwarpuram is a place which is 30 km from Pune. It houses around 45 children who are from the neglected and terror prone parts of Eastern Indian states like Manipur, Nagaland etc.

Their parents are victims of terrorism that is prevailing in this region for decades together.
These children are refrained from the fundamental rights of leading a normal life.
We are going to spend one day with them, the sole aim is to make them feel happy, to add more memories in their life which they will cherish throughout their life.

We are working on things now, and I will update soon on what we did.

Global Artist Collabration and the Interview with songwriter, singer : Katie Daven Thomas

I should have posted one about this long time ago, anyways I am currently working on my degrees, research and a project that i had in mind since a long time.
This project would be called the Global Artist Collaboration.

Let me give you an insight on this :
The Earth is divided in political boundaries, each country has developed its art in a different way having their own special flavor. What I want to do is bring this art together, combine it together to have a piece of music, an album that will be diversified with talent from different parts of the globe.

This is possible through the internet, we have upcoming singers, musicians, producers who would be interested in getting involved in a album compilation.

This would also be helpful in research of the music therapy not only for those who need it, but also for normal people dealing from daily life problems like stress and others.

The first step is to find artists interested in this, I was lucky to meet an angelic singer, songwriter, wife and a mother living in the Dolce Vita, Italy : Katie Daven Thomas via twitter.

Katie Daven Thomas

Katie Daven Thomas, born in the Manning Ford Bruce UK on the 4th December, studied acting at the LAMDA London Academy of Dramatic Music and Art. She started her career in singing and songwriting in Italy some 14 years ago, unfortunately she had a brain hemorrhage and couldn't continue singing due to her doctor's advice.

Me : Hello Katie thanks for coming, so when did you get into singing and songwriting?
Katie : I always loved music, sang once in a play at college but didn't start singing as a career till i came to Italy 14 years ago.

Me: So that was the first time you realized the love of music, other than being a singer/songwriter did you choose anything as a back up career or were you completely dedicated into music ?
Katie : I could dance before i could walk. Music was more of a hobby, plus my husband plays real good guitar so we decided to just make extra bucks doing it.

Me: Which is your first studio recorded song ?
Katie: I Was introduced to guy in a studio who liked my voice, "toast n coffee" first song i wrote came out of there.

Me: How was your first studio session ?
Katie : Brilliant, i had so much fun and learnt so much. If u think i had never been in a recording studio before, this was kinda amazing for me. The guy who plays drums on that song is famous in Italy and i also got to meet another very famous Italian singer.

Me: What year was this released in ?
Katie: well the song was made about 5 years ago, it was never released in a record deal way, i was doing this for fun, i get some royalties from it and thats it

Me: So, what is the aim behind your songs ?
Katie: My dream was to see a dance floor fill up when one of my songs was played, i never wanted to be famous. Anyway my dream came true with "chiudi il tuoi occhi" The clubs here loved it, watching 1000 people dancing to that is one of my happiest memories

Me: That's great, i wish i could have been there at that time.
Katie: Me too we could have danced.

Me: Oh yes all the way to the stars. So, how interested are you in my international artist collaboration
Katie: Well first u need to tell me bout it.

Me: The world is huge, it has different people, religions, traditions and all that Thus are the different people, different talent, different way of expression. But on my current research, I'm interested in one quality in the art of humans that is universal When such artists come together, form a piece of art in my case a music album copyrighted under a creative commons this would be great not only for listeners, but also for therapy and other healthy uses of music and sound

Katie: Sounds really good, so how would i be able to help you?
Me: You are so talented, with experience you could help me in my current research on audio therapy and the album.

Katie: Like in hospitals?
Me: No, i want to change that image sound therapy should not be used only for those who really need it, I want to expose its uses for a normal person in getting a healthy lifestyle.

Me: So will you be writing any new songs soon ?
Katie: Here i still got a lot of medical stuff going on, i also have a problem with one of my eyes.I've got double vision the whole time! So i can help but its not something i can do fast. I'm still on a lot of medication that makes me very slow!

Me: A song regarding global unity would be needed at this time.

I'm just amazed how much music and the human mind is related to each other.
Look at it in this way, when a baby is in a mother's womb, right from the start there's a sound that the baby develops listening to, the heart beat of the mother.
The vibrations of the heart beat thus play an important role in shaping the certain characteristics of a baby. That also might be the reason why most of the music we listen to is made of loops.
This might be the reason why certain sound and music therapies help many people dealing with all kinds of problems to recover and live a healthy life.
The Turco-Persian psychologist and music theorist al-Farabi (872–950), known as "Alpharabius" in Europe, dealt with music therapy in his treatise Meanings of the Intellect, where he discussed the therapeutic effects of music on the soul.
Robert Burton wrote in the 17th century in his classic work, The Anatomy of Melancholy, that music and dance were critical in treating mental illness, especially melancholia.

What's the difference between sound and music therapy ?

Sound Therapy is a therapy which uses various frequencies to help balance the body.It stimulates the ear by presenting it with constantly alternating sounds of high and low tone.
As the ear becomes open and receptive to high frequency sounds these are then passed on to the brain. The brain is recharged by means of sound, releasing latent vitality, obliterating tiredness, lessening the need for sleep, and inducing a permanent state of peace and relaxation.
Although sound therapy also helps those with insomnia to get sleep.

Music Therapy includes the use of mostly pre-recorded music or active participation of the clients in the process.
In fact both sound and music therapy have similar effects, sound therapy goes deeper and is used more in meditation institutes.

How does the therapy work ?

Brain Waves: Research has shown that music with a strong beat can stimulate brainwaves to resonate in sync with the beat, with faster beats bringing sharper concentration and more alert thinking, and a slower tempo promoting a calm, meditative state.
Also, research has found that the change in brainwave activity levels that music can bring can also enable the brain to shift speeds more easily on its own as needed, which means that music can bring lasting benefits to your state of mind, even after you’ve stopped listening.

Breathing and Heart Rate: With alterations in brainwaves comes changes in other bodily functions. Those governed by the autonomic nervous system, such as breathing and heart rate can also be altered by the changes music can bring. This can mean slower breathing, slower heart rate, and an activation of the relaxation response, among other things. This is why music and music therapy can help counteract or prevent the damaging effects of chronic stress, greatly promoting not only relaxation, but health.

So, music therapy can help us in many ways. Its you who decides which part of you you want to enhance or heal.

Just as I was about to end this post I saw another website which had something I had never seen before, Sound therapy with the use of tuning forks!

The website was called as acutonics, they claim that it is a energy-based non-invasive treatment that is similar to acupuncture.
Precision calibrated tuning forks are applied to specific acupuncture and acupressure points to access the body's Meridian and Chakra energy systems.

My hunt for the nintendo wii - India

I am not much of a gaming person, the only games I've played are counter strike, Grand theft auto, quake and need for speed for the maximum of a week then the game is deleted and replaced by quality audio samples for my production resources.
It was long ago, I think in the 2006 that Nintendo announced the Wii, I was pretty impressed about it when I heard about the wireless controls and all but I never went and googled about it. Till a week ago, I saw the wii fit, the sports resort and more games that have such a wonderful game play experience.

I'm really looking forward to get this wonderful console, the Sony PS3 and Xbox owners are complaining about the lack of hi-def graphics. That doesn't matter much to me. I just want to feel the wiimote vibrate as I play all those sports games and steer through the new LCD screen that we're planning on getting soon, lets hope for the best. I sure will let you know whether I get it or not.

I am not very sure I am going to be able to buy this gadget, but now I'm on the search for the cheapest price I can get in Pune city.
I went in a shop and he quoted me a 13.5k, not bad, but after 3 years of launch the cost of a electronic unit has to go down a lot !
Croma stores are selling at 22K!, this but they are providing a 1 year warranty the unit being from Dubai, it according to me is right, Dubai used to be cheap for gadgets but that's history.

The story of the infamous Mr. Swine.

So, who hasn't heard of this infamous virus, having claimed over 1,000 worldwide, Influenza A (H1N1)has made a huge impact to the humans. The flu first hit one of my favorite place, Mexico then to the United States spreading all over the the globe.
How did all this happen ? Where did the virus come from ?
Well, the swine influenza virus is common throughout pig populations worldwide. Transmission of the virus from pigs to humans is not common and does not always lead to human influenza, often resulting only in the production of antibodies in the blood. People with regular exposure to pigs are at increased risk of swine flu infection.
That might be the answer, and as I was looking through google I came across this wikianswers page that said :

The first Swine flu viruses were isolated in 1930 in the United States in pigs. - That's old.

One of the earliest case of swine flu in humans was in 1976 at Fort Dix, New Jersey where four soldiers who were previously healthy contracted the virus and developed pneumonia shown by a X-ray with other symptoms.Amongst them, one died and the virus was prominent in the close quarters and disappeared.
Where did cigarettes come from ? - Army.
Where did the swine come from ? - Yeah right.

Then...

In 1988 after 12 years of the first occurrence of Mr. swine, a 32 year old soon to have a baby, woman was in hospital for the signs of pneumonia. She passed 8 days later. When the doctors tried to find the reason for death, a swine H1N1 flu virus was detected.
It was later found out that four days before getting sick, she visited a county fair swine exhibition where there was widespread influenza-like illness among the swine.

NOW 2009, late march, H1N1 was detected in Mexico. The first person to get it according to the researchers is a child.
Its strange how it started with a child, and it has claimed so many children in India.
So in a village named La Gloria, a small town in south Mexico with about 3,000 people.
The child who was first the victim is cured, Edgar Hernandez is his name.
More research on this is more of a confusion as to where exactly, which farm did the virus initiate from. We will have to wait and see.

Dr. Harvey from WHO has said "Some experts believed that flu pandemics tended to recur on an 11-year cycle and they were prepared for an outbreak in the late 1970s"
Who's steps
WHO sent a signal to governments to prepare in case of an influenza pandemic. On 25 April, a day after WHO reported that a new strain of influenza A (H1N1) was infecting people in Mexico and the United States of America (USA), WHO announced phase 3 of pandemic alert. Two days later, it increased the warning to phase 4 and then, on 29 April, to phase 5 after sustained community transmission was established in Mexico and the USA. The new virus strain spread across the world, reaching more than 40 countries in four of WHO’s six regions by mid-May.

You cannot catch swine flu from eating pork or pork products. Cooking pork to an internal temperature of 160 degrees Fahrenheit (71 degrees Celsius) kills the swine flu virus along with other bacteria and viruses.

Now you know where that comes from, let's see how humans get and spread the virus.
Ways the swine flu can get to you :

Swine flu is spread just like the regular seasonal flu spreads.

1: Other person's sneeze
2: Close contact and touch, or respiratory droplets carrying the virus from person to person.
3: Currency notes.
4: Masks, Yes improper use of anti-flu masks can cause the virus to get in.
5: Kissing
6: Smoking, it weakens the lungs and immunity.
7: Unclean hands.
8: Unwashed clothes.
9: Public computer keyboards.
10: Door knobs.

The ways it can spread are many, let's discuss the preventive measures.

1: Wearing a N95 type mask.
2: Avoiding going in crowded places.
3: Keeping the body warm, 2 glasses of wine a day might help!
4: Lots of vitamin C, water and good fresh stuff.
5: Stay home if you're not well, not to avoid it from spreading, you might not have the flu, but because you're not well and your immunity is weak, you're prone to get the virus.
6: Avoid touching eyes, nose, mouth.
7: Wash hands all the time, use hand sanitizers - alcohol based.
